Memorial markers are objects, often made of granite or bronze, used to honor a person’s life and mark their final resting place. They provide a physical tribute and a focal point for grief, typically inscribed with the deceased’s name, birth and death dates, and sometimes other personal details. These markers can be upright like headstones or flush with the ground like flat markers, and cemeteries often have specific guidelines on the types and sizes allowed.
