Serving the Chicagoland area, the Purpose Over Profit Foundation is dedicated to supporting families during their time of need. We offer assistance to all, regardless of religious affiliation—because we believe we are all one in the eyes of our Creator.
If you need help caring for someone who is in the final stages of transitioning, or if you are facing financial burdens due to funeral or burial expenses, we are here for you. We may also be able to assist with the purchase of a cemetery memorial.
Our compassionate and knowledgeable team brings years of dedicated experience in the death-care industry. We understand the emotional and financial challenges that can arise during the loss of a loved one, and we’re here to help lighten that burden.
At Need Support
- Support for Families Who Have Lost a Loved One (Ages 18–35)
If you have a family member transitioning soon, or have recently experienced the loss of a loved one between the ages of 18 and 35, the Purpose Over Profit Foundation may be able to help. We understand how overwhelming this time can be, and we are here to provide support when you need it most.
- Financial Assistance
We offer a one-time payment made directly to your funeral home, cemetery, or monument dealer to help cover essential funeral or burial expenses. Our goal is to ease the immediate financial strain that often accompanies the loss of a loved one. When possible, we may also provide assistance with living expenses or counseling services, helping to reduce additional stress and support you through this difficult time.
We are here to help lighten the burden so you can focus on healing.
- After-Service Support
If services for your loved one have already taken place and it has been less than two years, we may still be able to help. Even after someone has transitioned, the impact of loss doesn’t follow a timeline. We understand that grief looks different for everyone, and healing happens at its own pace—sometimes, it may feel like it never fully comes. We’re here to support you wherever you are on that journey. A few of the services we can provide include:

What is a Death Doula?
A Death Doula provides non-medical, compassionate, holistic care for individuals and families navigating the end-of-life journey. Partners with hospice teams, palliative providers, clergy, and family networks to bring comfort, clarity, and dignity to every transition.
